EXCLUSIVE: Eric Winter is set to star opposite Tricia Helfer in TNT’s drama pilot Scent Of The Missing. The project, co-written/executive produced by CSI maven Carol Mendelsohn, Melissa R. Byer and Treena Hancock based on the book by Susannah Charleson, centers on Susannah (Helfer), a tenacious, strong-willed K-9 Search and Rescue volunteer who works with an equally determined partner — her mischievous golden retriever, Puzzle. Winter will play Jake, a member of the search and rescue team with his dog Shadow. Also executive producing the CBS TV Studios pilot is Barry Josephson. Winter, repped by UTA and Brillstein, is recurring on ABC’s midseason dramedy Good Christian Belles. He is coming off a major recurring role on CBS’ The Mentalist last season and recently shot the indie Fire With Fire opposite Josh Duhamel and Bruce Willis.

Not a bad choice. He was good on The Mentalist.
Love Treena and Melissa from their Crossing Jordan days. Great people and talented writers. Good on them!
Sounds like an interesting concept (not sure about the name of the show, though) and I do like Eric Winter from his Brothers and Sisters days.
This sounds like very interesting and so much looking forward to it. Eric Winter is awesome.
Model turned actor, philanthropist and entrepreneur is now ready to set a new milstone. The combination is awesome the story seems impressive. I hope Rex Brady of “Days of our Lives” will be as impressive as he was in all his previous roles.
