Sons Of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter should be in a better mood today then Friday, when he spewed venom at bloggers in a Twitter rant. Halfway through SOA‘s fourth season, FX this morning renewed Sutter’s hit biker drama for a fifth season with a 13-episode order. The series starring Charlie Hunnam, Ron Perlman and Katey Sagal is having its highest-rated season. It’s currently the No. 1 scripted drama series on basic cable and is the highest-rated series ever on FX with an averaged of 5.8 million total viewers and 3.9 million adults 18-49. That is up +30% and +26%, respectively, vs Season 3. The Season 4 premiere September 6 became the most-watched program in FX history with 6.5 total viewers. On a multi-telecast weekly basis, Season 4 is averaging 9 million total viewers and 6 million adults 18-49. “Everyone at FX is very grateful to Kurt Sutter, his many writing, directing and producing collaborators and his masterful cast for making such a compelling and beautifully crafted show,” FX president John Landgraf said. “It is no small challenge to bring the themes of a great, ancient play like Hamlet into a wholly original television setting and to tell this complex story in a way that is both riveting and accessible to a broad audience.” Sutter executive produces SOA with John Linson, Art Linson and Paris Barclay. FX Prods and Fox 21 are producing.

This is one of the BEST SHOWS EVER…Not only does my husband, myself and our child watch it, but we have several of our friends and other family members addicted to it now as well…All the actors are great…I just hope nothing happens to Jax and/or Tara, they have been through enough in their years of being in and out of each others lives…I hope this show continues for several more years to come… As far as the Fed Agent, I don’t think it’s JT, but I think it could be a family member of his or something that has come for revenge on Clay, I hate to see Ron (Clay) off the show, but it sure looks like that’s where it’s headed…

Yes I start watching Season 1 about to watch Season 2 I still have to buy season 3 & 4 but this will give me enough time to catch up on the series. I love this show u was not sure at first but i got into it… Just download the soundtracks for this show…

I am someone who survived 30 years in groups ,which are basically gangs. I had to ink over tats,I’m old now,got MS so I take shots every other day.Basically,I don’t know how much life I got left. When I was in, I strove to keep things legal,mainly protect my family.I divorced hate, life is tooo short. I love SOA. I never killed anyone thank God,but can’t say same for some lunatics I used to know. Scarey stuff nightmares are made of. My wife says it’s the MS but I’ve watched ery episode.Aniouxly waiting for season five. I’ve cried (pools),the emtional roller coasted ride has this handicapped old timer setting on the edge of his seat. Sutter you are an awesome indiviual. Great insight. the show is awsom and it hits home for where im from. san dimas california late 1960s to the 70s. we all did what we can to servive and fell in to some crazy fucking shit doing it. and today i can’t even talk about it unless you were there just like in country. ……………OKIE JOE.

I wish you wouldnt wait so long in between Seasons its driving me crazy. I now have now reason to tune out my daughters.I want to see what happens when Opie returns and Jax and Clay hit head one and who will remain faithful.
Sons is the best show fX has ever had!my husband and I watch it faithfully its the only show we can agree on.Kurt keep on keeping. Us on our toes look coward to next season.

i have watched every season and it’s awesome i love that sexy and pretty ass of Carlie’s it would be nice to meet him in person Jax and Tara acts very well together kurt has done an excellent job with the writing of this show i hope it lasts a good long time it’s my favorite show i try to watch it religiously Chibbs and Opie are good actors the scene when Donna got killed was so sad it had me crying and i know it hurt Tig too. As far as Jax wearing sneakers i don’t see nothing with it cause i have seen bikers and i mean died hearted bikers wear them So Jax, you keep on wearing them cause u look sexy in them See Ya Next Season can’t wait!!!!!!!
the show is one of my favorites. i see a lot of talk about realistic. i don’t know about that, maybe as realistic as dallas was about oil barons lol. what i do know is that it is good drama, well written and extreamly entertaining. the plot twists keep you tuning in to see what will happen next, even when you see it comming you hang on the edge to see how it will unfold. i have tuned in since the first episode and will hang on till the last. keep up the good work kurt and crew.

SOA is a great series ….. hubby and I watched all 4 seasons in marathon sit-ins to catch up, now we are waiting for the next Season to start. The story line is great and I hope SOA continues for many years to come. PS – Jax you sexy thing you.
