Harry Potter not creepy enough? In this thriller based on a novel by Susan Hill adapted by Jane Goldman (among the credited scribes on Kick-Ass, The Debt and X-Men: First Class) Daniel Radcliffe plays a solicitor who treks to an isolated village to settle a deceased client’s affairs. Bad things happen when the title character materializes in an upper window of the goosebump-inducing mansion. Janet McTeer also stars in the CBS Films release slated to open February 3.

Good. Some dark gothic horror it’s been a long time.
Looks decent, kind of like THE OTHERS. Think it’ll be a wait for DVD for me though. At least it looks like Radcliffe can do something other than Potter. Don’t think this will be a huge winner for CBS Films.
That looks surprisingly good.
This is the first of the new Hammer films that looks like it might be worthy of the name.
It looks really great. Can’t wait for this to come out in theaters.
They really need to use the Hammer logo on the American campaign! I don’t know the terms of CBS Films’ deal, but it makes sense from a basic marketing perspective! “Hammer” instantly says horror; the logo even looks foreboding. The CBS Films logo looks forboding in another way: to date, that logo says, “this will be a flop.”
From his look in this picture, Daniel Radcliffe would make a GREAT Henry Frankenstein in the next remake.
