Please God, let this be thoughtful, intelligent, and enlightening.
Kristin Davis – one of the sweetest, best hearts in Hollywood. Good as gold. Her work on behalf of animals alone is one to admire. Wish her all the best! I’ll be tuning in.
What crap. You ever watch Lifetime comercials? There’s more Pharma (antidepressant) drug commercials than any other network. I’m sure Lifetime will make sure the savior for her schizophrenia is a nice dose of pills.
How dare you criticize and further stigmatize the mentally ill. It is a real illness that can be helped by medication, but sometimes this is not enough. The side effects of medications cause ill people to self-medicate themselves with other drugs and/or alcohol, and have bigger problems on their hands. “Do not judge others, lest you be judged yourself.” No wonder you post as anonymous, what problems do you have-depression, bipolar, PTSD, dissociative disorder, ect. Educate yourself before making statements because mental illness is real, and hopefully the movies and better medications can enlighten the public that there is and will be help out there for those who suffer such a devastating illness.
Tammy Blanchard is an incredible talent…this should be good. Good to see Kristin in a challenging dramatic film.
Just saw a clip on Good Morning America… I love Kristen Davis, but my mother is schizophrenic/manic depressive. This clip was an arguement. That’s all. Sorry, schizophrenic don’t just argue. At least my mother didn’t. There was always a weapon involved or something flying through the air. I ducked down the hall when I was a child and watched scared to death as my mom tore the house down like a human tornado. I guess this is a “hollywood” candy coated version to get people discussing the stigma surrounding mental illness, but this particular scene was not accurate from my personal experience. I will still give the movie a chance.
hi missy – its hard to generalize schizophrenics… everyone with the illness is different and responds different when they are manic. i also saw the clip on GMA, im interested to see the movie cause it will shine light on how mental illness affect family members and relationships. my brother and a few other relatives suffer from mental illness, i too am hoping its not a candy coated version of our reality.
I saw the movie last night. Fabulous. Curious if it was filmed on Malibou Lake in Los Angeles?
