Marissa Jaret Winokur has landed the new regular role on TV Land’s comedy series Retired At 35, which centers on successful New Yorker David (Johnathan McClain) who moves in with his father (George Segal) and mother (Jessica Walter) in a Florida retirement community. Winokur will play David’s sister Amy, a sharp-tongued, quick-witted successful saleswoman for a pharmaceutical company with a bubbly personality who is bad man picker, so her personal life is a mess. Winokur most recently served as a co-host on CBS’ The Talk.

Finally, such a talented person who deserves a break.
Love this! Go Marisa!!
This girl brings the funny.
just once could the quick-witted successful girl NOT have her life be a mess? *sigh*
holla! love MJW!!!
Now that is what the show needs – classy casting!
Interesting, Casey Wilson from Happy Endings originally played the role of his sister in the first episode last season, then she was gone the rest of the season. I guess they decided to bring the sister character back but couldn’t get Casey to continue with the role because she’s still doing Happy Endings.
The one scene from season one of Curb Your Enthusiasm where Janet is wrestling with Larry David never fails to turn me on. She’s lost weight since then…dammit
Well, that’s three family members of Winokur that read Deadline.
Will not be watching—Marissa get on my last nerve—she really should retire—-no talent big mouth…….
They need to replace Johnathan McClain – rarely have I seen such an unappealing lead in a sitcom.
I would have agreed with you….until I saw David Hornsby on How To Be A Gentleman.
Nah, the guy’s okay. Pretty likable actually. They need to do something about the writing.
