EXCLUSIVE: Sixteen years after he co-created and starred in the WB comedy series The Wayans Bros, which ran for five seasons, Marlon Wayans is returning to broadcast TV with another comedy project about brothers, this time at ABC. Wayans will write, executive produce and star in a hybrid single/multi-camera comedy in development at the network that is produced by ABC Studios. The comedy, which has an odd couple/buddy cop comedy feel to it, centers on two brothers, both cops. Having fallen down on his luck, one of them moves in with his brother and his family. Wayans, who will play the married brother, is executive producing with his manager Lisa Blum and longtime producing partner Rick Alvarez of Wayans Bros Entertainment, Wayans’ production company with brothers Keenan Ivory and Shawn. CAA-repped Wayans, who started off working with his bothers on Fox’s sketch show In Living Color, co-wrote and starred in the Wayans clan’s Scary Movie franchise as well as White Chicks and Little Man. He is currently working with Jennifer Pryor and director Bill Condon on the Richard Pryor biopic, to which he is attached to star.

Groovy!
Damon and Marlon are the only true talents in the family and hopefully
Marlon won’t feel that he has give his older brother Shawn another
job again. Marlon partner yourself with someone at your level or better.
Oh come on now, I love Damon but how can you say Keenan Ivory and Kim are not talents, they were frequently brilliantly funny on In Living Color.
Kim is untalented. Her greatest role was as a fake fan preinterview while standing in line for Eddie Murphy Raw.
I don’t even see the need for attacking the rest of the family. Kim is funny as hell to me… Ms. Bonita Burtrail, CECE, and others…
Hater u R!
rick alvarez is the most talented wayans.
Wait til you see her in Pariah. She is great
The fact that there’s chatter as to who’s the more talented Wayans brother is bananas. C’mon, people.
No need to knock any of the family members – they are a talented group both together and individually. Love Marlon – glad to see him working on the small screen again – he’s a funny guy and extremely talented.
How did they fall off so bad. They used to be the shiznik until they fell off the face of the earth. What happened?
They should do an In living color reunion. The WAyans n Jim Carrey together again! Awesooooommmeee
I must agree they are all talented and I’m just glad to finally see one of the wayans brother back on tv. Specially marlon. Wish they would go back to scary movie with Anna faris
