EXCLUSIVE: Minnie Driver has signed a talent deal with ABC to star in a half-hour or one-hour project for the network targeted for next fall. The deal was made in a competitive situation, as the actress was also pursued for an NBC pilot. This past season, Driver toplined CBS’ drama pilot Hail Mary. Driver, repped by CAA and Untitled, previously starred on FX’s The Riches and recurred on NBC’s Will & Grace. She earned an Oscar nomination for Good Will Hunting and an Emmy nom for The Riches.

This had better not be another witless single-camera sitcom about a “woman of a certain age” looking for love in all the wrong places….
But it probably is.
I don’t see what anyone sees in her.
I agree with myopinion but I’m not sure what either of us knows becaause I belive she also got an oscar nomination for “Phantom of the Opera.”
Now I can finally get some sleep.
She is one of the best actresses of this generation. She was fantastic on the riches.
