NBC has scheduled the reboot of Fear Factor, which will serve as a bridge between The Sing-Off and The Voice in the Monday 8-10 PM slot. The revamped gross-out competition will premiere on December 12. “We have taken the groundbreaking Fear Factor franchise that many fans remember fondly and have ramped it up to make it even more challenging and competitive than ever before,” said Paul Telegdy, NBC’s president of alternative and late night. “Once again, the contestants will have to face their ultimate fears to prevail — and the tension and drama of that process will make for some riveting television.” New stunts on the show include “Towering Inferno” and the “Helicopter TNT Crash.” Remaining the same are host Joe Rogan and producers Endemol USA, Matt Kunitz and David Hurwitz.

Like all other “revamps” or “reboots” this season they will find a way to make it suck badly.
Agreed.
At least the original host and producer are returning.
Now that “Fear Factor” will be coming back, any chance that “Deal Or No Deal” might also get revived with new prime-time episodes??
(It too is produced by Endemol, as is “Fear Factor”)
NBC needs to stop making their shows 2 hours long. It just makes me want to change the channel, not keep watching.
Since it’s on nbc, I’m fearing the worst-but-hoping for the best. “Fear Factor” was always one of my favorite shows,I loved seeing what they had to do next &(think what you want of “fear factor”)whoever won-DEFINITELY deserved the money! I always enjoyed watching it-which is a lot more than you can say about most things on tv,& especially on nbc.FEAR FACTOR IS FUN(disgusting & gross)BUT LOADS OF FUN! Looking forward to its’ return & given nbc’s track record rebooting things-I just hope they don’t f**k it up! Thank you.P.S. (mondays+2 hours=MEGA FEAR FACTOR)!!
Fear Factor > Whitney
More easy money for Jeff Sussman.
Nothing says Merry Christmas like a TV platter of spoiled cheese and pig testicles.
If this revamped version is so much more challenging, why are those arguably the three most timid species of snakes on the planet??
Seriously, there’s two corn snakes, a ball python, and a woma. These there species fall somewhere between earthworms and possibly ladybugs on the list of dangerous animals. This is the best they can do?
Now. Put the guy’s dick in a cage with an Amazon tree boa, which they did on Jackass, and now you’re talking about some dangerous, scary, fucked up shit.
Y’all just saying that because the Charlie’s Angels reboot bombed and since then y’all think everything that is a “reboot” and that airs on NBC will bomb.
With the exception of ‘Harry’s Law’ w/the superb Kathy Bates, NBC has nothing going for it.
Maybe ‘Fear Factor’ will do something for this dreadful network.
fear factor is so unbelievable, i give props to the people who do fear factor
