Harvey Weinstein, TV producer Steve Levitan, ICM’s Chris Silbermann, UTA’s Rob Prinz, manager-producer Jason Weinberg and talent managers Eric Ortner, Greg Mertz, Bruce Flohr, Michael Green, Steve Moir and Bill Silva were among Hollywood figures invited to meet with President Obama on Tuesday before he left for San Francisco. These ardent supporters were not hit up for donations, according to Tina Daunt, but were singled out for their perceived ability as “influencers” who could shape political debate as campaigning heats up in the months ahead. Invitees also included CAA music agent Rob Light and music industry bigwigs Craig Kallman, Karen Kwak, Livia Tortella, Tom Sturges, Livia Tortella, producer-songwriter Bruce Roberts, showbiz attorney Chuck Ortner and actor Kal Penn plus IDPR’s Kelly Bush and Mara Buxbaum.

With these self-important, Hollywood ‘influencers’ involved, Obama should just cruise to victory. Once CAA music agent Rob Light gets going, there’s no telling how many votes Obama can secure! I feel the political debate being shaped right this second!

i do find it a bit disappointing that when he does come to LA, its to hangout with the uber rich and famous of Westside and the furthest east he goes is Hancock park. How amazing would it be for him to visit a predominantly black neighborhood like Inglewood, or hispanic neighborhood like Van Nuys. Hell, even West Hollywood since he’s warming up to same sex marriage and whatnot…or even a working class white neighborhood like uh…ummm…uhhhhhhh…hmmm…damn all the white neighborhoods in LA are still filled with rich industry people…lol

I too have always felt that we would see the kick ass Obama if he got another term. Though not as confident he will get another term because he hasn’t messaged the media with his accomplishments like the ConFreaks have messaged with their lies.
