Deadline Hollywood in the last coupla years has received shout-outs on a growing number of TV shows like American Idol, Californication, even a multi-episode storyline on Entourage. But tonight I can die happy: The CW’s Gossip Girl gave a shout-out to Deadline and to me. (Serena leaked a story to Deadline in an effort to secure film rights to Dan’s semi-autobiographical novel.) You high-brow types can keep your Boardwalk Empire: I’ve enjoyed every low-brow episode of Gossip Girl since it debuted. Now if only Chuck and Blair can get back together…
