Tonight’s NYFF Mystery Film Is Martin Scorsese’s ‘Hugo’
EXCLUSIVE: Paramount Pictures and GK Films have issued a short feature that gives a behind-the-scenes look at Hugo, the 3D film that will be shown tonight as a surprise addition to the New York Film Festival. It’s Martin Scorsese’s first foray into 3D and also his first family film, and he seems pretty excited about it:

Looks cool. Lame choice of music, though.
This is the most uneducated thing I could say about the film, but the dachshunds at 1:26 are impossibly cute. They literally sold me on the film.
Isn’t this produced by Johnny Depp’s production company or is this another movie by the same name?
Johnny Depp does have a producer credit on this.
infinitum nihil is a producer on it i think
Whoever it was that convinced me this movie was a sequel to Hugo Pool, I’m pissed!
Love Scorsese! I can hardly wait even though I don’t like 3D.
You mean GK? GK stands for Graham King, the producer of Rango, The Tourist and the next two Depp pictures, The Rum Diary and Dark Shadows (amongst others. He also did The Departed and The Aviator.
read the book to your kids and then go see this. it’s fun
EPIC!!!! I love the book and I really want to see the movie. Remember kids, movies about books are not always the same. I hope this one is…….
Not sure if you have seen it yet, but it is very much so like the book.
If having 30 Seconds to Mars appeal to the young generation, I don’t know what would. But I see that song in the trailer hurting the film’s credibility.
i cant wait t see it are teacher is reading it to us were on the second part of the book its good CAIN’T WAIT !
awsome
it looks good,i think I’ll go watch it for my birthday
This was a fabulous film project to be involved with and working with Scorsese was such an experience. I think the 30 Seonds to Mars song actually suits the trailer, as it’s about dreaming and adventure! I’m also not a fan of 3D, but this will be an adventure.
I saw the movie tonight and found it delightful and fascinating. Now I must read the book!
Vey good book. It is going to be a very good movie too.
I’m so so happy HUGO has garnered the most Academy Award nominations. I think it is a genuine cinema CLASSIC.
i’m a martin scorsese fan and can’t wait to see the master peace „Hugo” in berlin on Thurday FEB. 9th 2012…
