Universal Pictures has released a trailer for American Reunion, which is due out April 6, 2012. It seems that Jason Biggs, Allyson Hannigan, Seann William Scott, Mena Suvari, Shannon Elizabeth, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Thomas Ian Nicholas and Eugene Levy are up to their old tricks. The question is, is that a good thing?

so their class is having a 13-year reunion? or is this set in 2009?
Deadline Team, you need to come up with a new designation for the trailers you show.
“Hot Trailer” is usually a complete misnomer and, more likely, false advertising.
“New Trailer” or “Breaking Trailer” is more like it.
It’s Hot off the presses.
I’m a sucker – I’ll watch American Pie movies until they make American Funeral (which doesn’t even seem unrealistic at this point).
i’m with you. american classic.
Agreed.
Count me in. The first one came out the summer before I entered high school, and the third one came out the summer I graduated high school. Nostalgia’s a powerful thing.
Wait, so is Jim’s mom dead?
Will anyone miss her?
Or they’re divorced.
is that the best they’ve got? doesn’t bode well…
this actually looks better than the teaser they released. at least I see a story with this. looks fun. gonna keep a close eye on this one.
it’s like the Big Chill, but without the 60′s soundtrack and dead Kevin Costner, and there’s no pastry f’ing, so it’s got that going for it, too. can’t wait!
I don’t care what anyone says. I’m looking forward to this and I’m going to watch it and I’m going to like it (even if I don’t).
And they should do “American Funeral” for the fifth installment. The dead person can be whomever doesn’t sign up for it.
Wow. Awful. Too bad.
funny. ill see it
Not like the actors are doing anything else. Except for Allyson Hannigan.
This movie will be huge.
Why wont they move this to August where every american pie has opened? Have they learned nothing from scream 4? April is a terrible month – college kids are dealing with finals and graduation. High school students are dealing with prom and finals
Yep. Agree glad someone is on the ball.
Agree. They did a great job of reuniting the entire cast and keeping the same tone, so why mess with the August part of the formula?
FUCK YA. How dare anyone begin to talk shit.
Where’s Natasha Lyonne? She’s the only original cast member that I didn’t see in the trailer. Even Shannon Elizabeth and Stifler’s mom have cameos.
christ what a piece of dogshit
Think of all the high-quality indie films that could have been made with the money wasted on this lowbrow trash.
Norma Shearer got the productions, Greta Garbo supplied the art, and Joan Crawford made the money to pay for both – Old MGM Saying
Chillax dude
How about a movie just about Stifler’s mom and Jim’s dad???
I honestly love this franchise and I cannot wait for this movie. Everything about it feels like an easy choice and a good time. i’m glad they’ve decided to really go back to the roots. but totally think they need to move it to August. April feels too early for a movie that has summer written all over it.
I have such love for this series but this looks lame and tired
This looks great.
This is why the movies past 3 didn’t work: because Jim’s dad couldn’t carry them all by himself. What we all wanted is this and hopefully this is it because the only movie left is American Funderal and none of us want to see Jim or Stiffler nail a corpse without knowing it.
