This un-PC video was shown at the start of last month’s American Cinematheque tribute to Robert Downey Jr and features Mel Gibson, Jamie Foxx, and Garry Shandling brainstorming. It’s very inside Hollywood:

Holy shit! I can’t stop laughing! Jamie Foxx should do ten minutes of improvisation in every movie, from now on. “I’m okay to go. I’m okay to go”…brilliant.

Wish their films were this funny. Except for the serious ones. Or maybe also the serious ones.

That was pretty fucking funny actually. That contact impression was spot on…

Hilarious. Please put these three guys in a movie together. Scenes like this between scenes of Mel and Jamie shooting dudes = box office gold. Half a billion dollars. I am ready to pre-order that blu-ray and the script isn’t even written yet. Boom.

Pretty damn funny. I wonder how many writers they had on this, or if it was truly freeflow.

Jamie Foxx is so great. Spot-on impersonations and that bit about RDJ’s “pretty mouth!” Ha!

I find it funny when I read the comments, people love Mel Gibson ( or Woody Allen or Charlie Sheen ) , but they love to hate on females- Oprah Winfrey, etc… No wonder we life in female bashing society.

Is this suppose to be funny? It was so boring that I turned off at 4.20. The most boring “funny” video ever. How did it end up on Funny or Die?
The most disturbing thing about this video and the whole Gibson situation is that he keeps acting like NOTHING HAPPENED. Like… we don’t see some “heart to heath” interviews where he cries and tells how sowwwy he is and that he had some bad day and he was sick and he went to rehab (as they all do)and is all good now. No… He keeps acting like we never heard those tapes and somehow he thought that if he will lay low, vey-very low then in few months everyone will forget about the whole thing… Well you thought it wrong Mel Gibson.
And those TMZ fans of Gibson keep wondering and ask everyone to forgive him. How can I forgive him if he didn’t ask me for forgiveness. He obviously doesn’t think he did something wrong. He only regrets that those tapes went public.
And people can’t forgive him. At least not in another 10 years. Because we look it him (like in the video) and we know that he smiles and then camera will stop rolling and he will go home and will be that monster from the tapes. It’s disgusting. I can’t even look at his face. I fear that he will jump and start scream how he hates us all and he is all powerful and rich and we are poor and nothing.

Gibson did apologize five years ago, three times. No one accepted it. He explained himself for those tapes on this very site. He knows his words were wrong. What do you want, a personal phone call from him?
Before you pass judgement on the guy (although you obviously already have), I suggest you read this:
People are fallible, they’re complicated, they make mistakes throughout their lives, and yes, they make the same mistakes over and over. Even you and me. Try to mend your own, and I’ll try to mend mine rather than worry about his. That’s his job.

Hmmmm, “How can I forgive him if he didn’t ask me for forgiveness.”
Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out who SHY is.

That was fantastic! A throwback to Martin Riggs, would love to see Mel back to that sort of action/comedy role.

I now understand why most of you people who post comments don’t actually work in Hollywood — other than at Starbucks.
