EXCLUSIVE: Miguel Ferrer is joining the cast of CBS’ NCIS: LA in a recurring role. He will play NCIS Assistant Director Allan Granger, a high-ranking federal agency supervisor. Rocky Carroll has played NCIS Director Leon Vance on both NCIS and spinoff NCIS: LA. Ferrer has been keeping very busy this year. The Crossing Jordan alum, repped by Innovative and manager Leslie Allan-Rice, was a regular on Lifetime’s drama The Protector. Miguel Ferrer is great!
He helped track down who killed Laura Palmer in Twin Peaks, and his head exploded real good in Deepstar Six!
Good news about a fine actor. Not a bad musician, either!
Oh how awesome! He’s such a great talent. Good for you, NCIS-LA!
Happy dance time!!!!
Wonderful actor, adds pizazz and credibility to everything he does.
Id buy that for a dollar…
think this casting is great, although it will be interesting, i most likely wont get a chance to see it until next year (i live in nz and we are a bit behind on most shows lol)
Was the best part of Crossing Jordan.
NCIS LA will die if this dull and negative new character continues to be on. Just like what knocked CSI Las Vegas down when they brought in Lawrence Fishburne – dull, dull, dull. We won’t watch another NCIS LA with this character on it. Please don’t ruin NCIS like this! NCIS has a little fun at work – like Castle and Bones… Not that Miguel and Lawrence aren’t great actors – just not in shows like this!
Nothing against M. Ferrer but this character as written does nothing to make the show better. It wasn’t broke and didn’t need to be fixed. Looks as if they want to kill the show.
I thought this was the guy in Robocop, but wasn’t sure ’til I looked it up. I think I like seeing him in the show, but LA doesn’t have the acting quality of NCIS. I think he’s adding some spice to the show.
He is such a stiff and non expressive actor…BORING…please don’t keep him on the show
