BREAKING; Mandate Pictures and Rough House Pictures have set commercials director Randy Krallman to make his feature directorial debut on Bullies, the comedy hatched by Danny McBride and written by Andrew Mogel and Jarrad Paul. The plot revolves around wo brothers who have been bullies all their lives and get their comeuppance. McBride is expected to star. Rough House principals McBride, David Gordon Green, Jody Hill and Matt Reilly are producing, while Mandate’s Nathan Kahane is exec producer. McBride’s repped by CAA and Management 360.

Sounds like a sure winner — if there’s one thing we learned from HER MAJESTY, it’s that audiences just can’t get enough of Danny McBride!
congrats to andy and jarrad! hilarious writers and great, great dudes. and randy is so amazingly talented. can’t wait. this is gonna be a smaaaaash.
It might be a smaaash, or even a smaaaash. But a smaaaaash? No way.
Wow, those rats can’t jump off the sinking SS Allen Gregory fast enough!
randy is awesome! that taco party spot is hilarious. eastbound is the funniest show out there.
I wish it was the funniest… they need to bring back McBride’s sidekick (the science teacher) in a major way. He gets the most laughs in my house anyway.
that’s all we need. another film by a first-timer commercial director. yay.
If there’s on thing we know about McBride, he’s a no doubt movie star. Just look at Your Highness and 30 minutes or less…both available on dvd, almost immediately after hitting the theaters
Randy Krallman has it. Watched his short at Sundance a few years ago. He has a strong hand on subtle performance that will hopefully give this a chance. Should be able to cast.
Her Majesty? Did you mean Your Highness? Hard to make fun of someone when you can’t even get the name of the movie right.
It’s actually pretty easy to make fun someone because not getting the name of the movie right is sort of the whole point — no one saw the movie and no one was talking about the movie and everyone’s pretty much already forgotten it except as a punchline. Plus, HER MAJESTY, HER HIGHNESS, who cares? Both terrible titles to a terrible movie.
wow you sound bitter
Looking forward to seeing this when it comes out. Some of the only content out there worth watching as far as commercials has come from this guy.
