CBS’ all-rerun lineup dominated every hour last night against mostly original competition. A repeat of rookie 2 Broke Girls (3.3/8, 9.2 million) was the top program of the night in adults 18-49, while an encore Two And A Half Men (3.1/7, 9.7 million) was the most watched. Reruns of How I Met Your Mother (2.9/8, 8 million) and Mike & Molly (2.7/6, 8.5 million) finished No. 3 in 18-49 and total viewers, respectively, and a Hawaii Five-0 repeat (2.1/5, 7.9 million) was fourth in viewers. For the night, CBS averaged a 2.7/7 in 18-49 and 8.5 million viewers.
Fox’s dramas didn’t get a major boost from airing against reruns on CBS and no Dancing With The Stars on ABC. Original Terra Nova (2.2/6, 7.2 million) was up only a tenth in 18-49 from last week (up 11% in total viewers). It finished third in the 8 PM hour behind the CBS comedy repeats and ABC’s holiday special reruns, How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2.5/7, 7.7 million, up 14% in 18-49 from last year) and Shrek The Halls (2.6/6, up 8%, 7.7 million). At 9 PM, House (2.6/6, 7.3 million) too was up a tenth in the demo. Fox (2.4/6, 7.3 million) was second for the night in 18-49 and total viewers. ABC’s new game show You Deserve It (1.4/3) tumbled 18% from its soft premiere last week, while Castle (1.3/3) was a repeat. NBC’s The Sing-Off finale (1.7/4) posted its highest rating in almost two months but was down 37% from last year’s finale. Rock Center With Brian Williams (1.2/3) perked up, jumping 33% from last week’s series low. The CW’s Hart Of Dixie (1.9 million, 1.0/3 in 18-34, 0.8/2 in 18-49) hit a series high in 18-34 and matched its series high in 18-49.

NBC’s pathetic results are inflated – Saints game was on local affiliate. 2BG is for real. I expect CBS to add at least two more episodes to order before season is through.
Glad to see auds are discovering “2 Broke Girls,” which is a really fun throwback to old sitcoms but with a pretty naughty edge at times. There are some lines of dialogue that will make you go “damnnn.” Sexual double entendres that don’t even bother with the double entendre.
And yes, the Chinese diner owner and Ukrainian fry cook are complete racial stereotypes, but they’re also hilarious if you don’t take them too seriously; don’t over-think it, just laugh your ass off.
Sorry, but we really should be long past this Vaudevillian approach to comedy by now. And there will NEVER be anything remotely funny about rape jokes.
Totally Agree. It is a very funny show for stupid people that have given up on liking good things.
PLEASE, somebody— put “House”out of its misery!
Seriously, can anyone actually sit through an entire episode— and WHAT THE HELL is that “asian” girl” character. Slow???? Stupifying???
Why bother to have “Chase” show up for filming as he simply is phoning in a non performance. Bored and totally uninvolved— much like me!
“You Deserve It” is pretty good. I’d like to see better clues, but I think the premise is original. I hope it finds it’s audience.
Sorry to see those numbers for Terra Nova. I think FOX cannot wait to premiere Alcatraz there.
Funny thing that Terra Nova and Hawaii 50 are aired by the same network in UK and Australia, and in both cases Terra Niva is doing so much better than Hawaii. In England Terra Nova is getting 1.5 million viewers while Hawaii was getting only 800.000. And in Australia Hawaii suffered a time slot downgrade and it was replaced by Terra Nova that has improved the slot numbers for Channel 10.
I still think the best for Mondays will arrive next February with NBC, The Voice and Smash will beat the rest.
I’m one of the people who likes 2 BROKE GIRLS and I don’t even care. The ratings are crazy though, more than I expected. But I’m not complaining.
I am not sure why Ashton Kutcher keeps walking around barefoot in every episode except the first. And those baggy shirts worn over a singlet is so unbecoming. very sloppy dressing. At least they got rid of the advertising stickers on his laptop. The show seems to feature Alan’s trials more than “Walden’s”(what an odd name for a tv character)reminds me of “Walter Brennan”-it is an old man name!!!
