EXCLUSIVE: Sony Pictures is acquiring screen rights to BZRK, the first in a three-book series by Michael Grant. The project is being acquired for Sam Raimi and Josh Donen at Stars Road. The title, which got a strong response recently at Frankfurt, will be published next year by Egmont. Grant, who wrote Gone and co-created the Animorphs series, has written a youth oriented tale with an ambitious premise. A team of gifted teens control biological nanobot robots warriors and they battle another group that is controlled by conjoined twins whose nanobots are brainwashing world leaders. The megalomaniacal twins are trying to take over the world. CAA is brokering the deal.

“The megalomaniacal twins are trying to take over the world. CAA is brokering the deal.”
If only that was the entirety of the article.
Shouldn’t that read “CAA is trying to take over the world. The megalomaniacal twins are brokering the deal”?
Interesting , but is it only going to be aimed at teenagers ?!
Getting a mention on Deadline Hollywood is the second coolest thing ever, beaten only by getting a blurb a while back from Stephen King.
