UPFRONTS 2013: The Overachievers 
EXCLUSIVE: Kelly Overton (The Ring Two) and Louis Herthum (The Last Exorsism) have landed major recurring roles on the HBO vampire drama True Blood. Overton has been booked for 6 episodes and Herthum has been tapped for 5. I hear that the deals for both include series regular options for next season. Overton, repped by Innovative Artists, will play a dirty, beautiful werewolf named Rikki who demands to know what’s become of the pack leader. Herthum, repped by Main Title and Progressive Artists, will play a particularly large Marine-type werewolf who refuses to bow down before the new pack leader. He is also recurring on A&E’s Longmire.

I’n kind of bored with True Blood now. And they keep and keep casting those actors we never heard of. Could they at least cast someone famous? And can someone tell True Blod producers that werewolf are the most boring storyline on the show? We don’t care about those werewolfs. We don’t wan’t to sit and watch their boring problems every episode.
The whole Alcide thing was drowning show so much last season. I just rewind every time Alcide and his wolfs showed up on screen. If they will continue with that werewolf thing then they will lose audience.
They have to move the show out of the swamp – there’s only so many stories that sort of setting can support.
True Blood is a lot of fun but, yeah, the werewolves are boring as hell. The other supernatural characters keep having new powers revealed but the werewolves can only do one thing and we’ve seen it so many times.

TRUE BLOOD is and continues to be one of the best shows on television. Both of these actors will be great additions to the already talented cast. ITK
