EXCLUSIVE: Comedy Central has picked up for development Rabbit Hole, a half-hour scripted/improv hybrid comedy created/executive produced by Upright Citizens Brigade veteran Jamie Denbo and Reno 911! alumna Kerri Kenney-Silver. Kenney-Silver is set to star in the mockumentary-style comedy, a behind-the-scenes look at the residents and customers at a low-rent legal brothel in Winnemucca, Nevada called Dame Delilah’s Rabbit Hole Ranch. Kenney-Silver will play Dame Delilah, the madam of the house. This is Denbo’s second sale this season; she also is writing comedy I Lick My Cheese for CBS, CBS Studios and Ash Atalla’s Roughcut. CAA-repped Denbo is probably best known as half of the Ronna and Beverly comedy team. This marks Gersh-repped Kenney-Silver’s return to Comedy Central where she played Deputy Trudy Wiegel on Reno 911!. She is with Principato-Young.

Oh my god! Kenney is HILARIOUS. Sounds good!
Because prostitution is funny! wtf?
Jamie is hilarious. And it’s about time Winnemucca got its due.
“OK, why don’t you just, uh, Xanadu it on in ther–.”
“You Xanadon’t it!”
(beat)
“Did he just say ‘Xanadon’t it’?”
Bring back Mrs. Laupin!
Great to hear Kenney is back – she can now reclaim the title of funniest woman on tv!
Two extremely funny, talented ladies. This is great news!
both of these women are crazy talented and funny. i’ve never been to a prostitute, but i will absolutely watch this show.
This has fail written all over it. First of all, a non-funny cast; secondly, brothels in Nevada? At least every episode of Reno 911 dealt with that premise. Finally, Comedy Central kills its shows after one season, max, unless it’s a cartoon or its
“non-funny cast”? There’s only one cast member mentioned, and she’s funny enough that you’ve watched “at least every episode” of her most recent series. Also, didn’t Comedy Central just give Workaholics a 3rd season order?
Get your facts, I mean bitter opinions, straight.
If something has fail written all over it, it’s your predictions…
star leaves to smoke pot in Africa.
Gotta love deadline. Always at least one hater. This show will be great! Reno was great and I bet they regret canceling it.
With the track record of these two “ladies” in the comedy world this should be a sure winner.
I live in Winnemucca. Now everyone will see what a crap hole it really is.
I am from Winnemucca and will be real interested in the sitcom. I hope that this does not make Winnemucca look rediculous or in any way sleazy. Though working in a salon for years and years one of my clients was the Madam (Virginia) of the Pussy Cat Saloon and severalof her working girls over the years. The colorful stories I could tell, it was always a good day when they came in, because it was never a dull conversation!
I find that most people who hate it here usually don’t like themselves to much! Winnemucca is a great town and a great place to raise your kids!
I completely disagree with the raising your kids here part. I hate this place and I dont hate myself….buuut that’s off topic, so I’ll just say that I can’t wait for this to go through and I hope they actually film it here…ha
This is awesome!! I loved Reno 911! because I thought it totally nailed Reno’s sense of “Wanna be” Glamour and Glitz with its actually trashy/rednecky seedy underbelly.
Winnmucca is ripe for a sitcom, and all it’s residents would agree that many of the sleepy town’s goings on would make for very funny episodic scripts with our own vivid real life characters– The shop teachers’ with missing fingers, the ambiguously oriented but much beloved high school teacher, the weird passive aggressive guy with NO TAILGATING painted on his van by hand…the high school lockdown brought on by one student working on his rifle stock in woodshop, the kids with fresh drivers licences “driving the horseshoe” at cathouse row screaming “SENIORS ROCK” out the windows to no one at all… (nearly a daily occurrence)
While I got out of “The Mucc” years ago, you can count on me as a loyal viewer when the show hits the Comedy Central Lineup.
(Here’s hoping for “on location” footage!! No set can do justice to those casinos or the ultra posh “Martin Hotel” or “The Shone” Boarding House!)
