Craptastic!
Elodie Yung as a hot ninja!! YES!
why do they even bother with such execrable dreck? GI Joe II reeks of lameness. Then again, it will probably make money so it’s all good. Oh, Hollywood — why have you forsaken me with such fetid celluloid crap!
Just like the MIB3 trailer, this looks awesome.
Been all round the tinterweb saying this but can’t wait for this movie love the song that’s in the trailer (hope its in the movie) and like that all that’s wrong with the original JOE is high cholesterol (not enough one liners in films now days)
I didn’t even see the first one, but I can tell you that that’s a hit movie.
How is it this looks so bad? And with such a capable cast?
BRUCE WILLIS SAVES THE DAY!
Not bad, though it wouldn’t take much to top the first..as long as they get the Ninjas right, that’s all anyone cares about.
Based on this trailer, you should have listed ‘explosions’ as the lead actor in the synopsis.
The theme song is pretty catchy though.
this trailer is already better than the first film.
Where the hell is Zartan?
So does Tatum get killed in the beginning of the movie?
No Sienna Miller coming back as the Baroness? Disappointing. She was probably the best character in the first. I suppose they ruined her as a femme fatale/villain by making her the love interest. Also a lot of the original cast has been cut, no Marlon Wayans, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Dennis Quaid, the girl who was Scarlet etc. Kind of a big drop in action directors from Steven Sommers down to the guy who did some Step Up tween-dance-chick flick sequels. Maybe they think fight choreography is similar enough to dance? But I like bringing The Rock in, he is a natural fit for the genre and the BW cameo helps tremendously.
Wow!!! Cain’t wait!
Great trailer – killer song and some big shots!
Looks like fast food, but the edible kind.
Let’s hope that the Seven Nation Army-variation isn’t the new theme song. I really can’t listen to this song anymore…
Nice stinger with Willis. Looks like fun. The first was, despite the interesting talent on screen, a real snoozer. Maybe they’ve got something here, though.
…I think this thing is going to surprise a lot of people.
Couldn’t have said it better myself, JWB. With the emphasis on CRAP!
Retaliation because not enough of us wanted to see the first film?
Please, if you insist on doing a toy-based movie, at least make a movie, not string together CGI and 3D effects.
Can’t take this seriously with Channing Tatum in it. Sorry.
Korben Dallas is the original GI Joe? Where’s the shark, cuase this “franchise” just jumped it.
And this plot seems REALLY familiar to the upcoming Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. You know, elite unit betrayed by evil forces and has to fight back to clear its name. Screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are just this side of plagiarism.
GI Joe: Ghost Protocol!
No, I kid – trailer already looks better than the first movie
