Booo!
Tyler Perry crap w/out Tyler Perry is still… CRAP!
You’re absolutely right! Anything that features black actors and actresses is in the mold of “Tyler Perry”. Haha. Why they can’t they just all go away?
Seriously, it’s close minded thinking like yours that makes me sick to my stomach.
It really does bring Tyler Perry to mind when I see this trailer, but it looks a bit more on the funny side – that’s all. As it is well known, Tyler Perry’s movies are about Men & Women relationships, cast some of the same Actors, and deal with contemporary themes, which looks a lot like, “Think Like a Man”, so comparing the two is not out of the ordinary. People compare one movie to another, all the time – the movie “Battle Ship”, for example, was just compared to “Transformer”. Sometimes, it’s not about race, unless you make it so.
Please! Zach is right. You are racially profiling the film. There are a ton of comedy films featuring mainly white actors that deal with relationships. Moreover, before Tyler Perry rolled into town, there were comedies & dramas about romantic relationships that featured mainly African-American casts. For example: Love Jones, the Best Man, Booty Call, Woo, etc.
It was written by the guys that did Friends with Benefits. Was that movie “Tyler Perry crap” too?
I’ll more than likely catch this. Taraji, Michael, Romany are enough. For some reason every time I see Kevin Hart, I just see a guy trying so hard to be Martin Lawrence without a tenth of the talent.
I actually saw an early cut of the film. It was waaaaaay better then this awful trailer. I hope they cut something better or else NO ONE will go see it!!!
So movie with black people in it = tyler perry to you. Got it.
did you even bother to read the article or did your brain just turn off once you saw melanin?
Can someone please tell me what this film is about? I know even less after watching that slog…
Doesn’t look too bad. Like a nice silly flick, wouldn’t mind catching it the weekend it comes out.
With the change in the nation’s mood about money and finance, is a film about poor guys faking rich to get women whose standards are programmed by Wall Street relevant???
I know the filmmakers here greenlit this project pre-Occupy, and this could be a well-done entertaining movie, but man are they on the wrong end of the zeitgeist.
This is not money at all, dumbass… I’ve read the script, and it’s light years ahead of T Perry’s movie for the rest of you idiots…
Wow this would be AWESOME, if it wasn’t garbage.
