Dangit. I thought it was about the Pet Shop Boys song “This Must Be the Place I’ve Waited Years to Leave.” Oh well, it looks a tad interesting/funny, but I’ll probably pass on it.
I like it.
I love Sean Penn’s sheer bravery. The guy is fearless. But I’m scratching my head here. The soundtrack of the trailer would be fitting for a carefree road trip, but Penn’s character is on the hunt for a Nazi sadist. How fun can that be?
I’m in.
So underwhelmed by the movies this year. Hope 2012 is better.
WOW. I hope the sound mix is better in the actual movie…cuz it sucked in this trailer!
the director is great, so I’ll go see this. watch “il divo”
I absolutely loved this film, as did my partner. It’s worth it for the soundtrack alone, but Sean Penn is quite amazing (and I am not a fan of the guy!) as is the supporting cast. There is a great deal of very laid back humor too. It is by no means the depressing film I though I was being dragged into. Another one right out of the ballpark from the director of Il Divo.
I’ll see anything with Mr. Penn and I’ll see this but dang… 2 hours of him in that hair and make-up and the VOICE! Yikes. I wanna slap him silly.
Wait. Goth rockers still walk around dressed in leather and in drag 40 years past their prime? What the hell does Alice Cooper look like now?
It looks like “Tootsie” meets “I Am Sam”.
loved it. surprised. like the tone. the performance is ridiculous and brave. and yeah hope you can hear it but— w/o having seen the dir’s other movies it looks like he has a really unique visual style. down.
Haha is this a parody trailer ? I didn’t know Sean Penn has a sense of humour
This will be a great hit. The plot is great and the cast is wonderful. A must see movie.
