Tuesday was a mostly steady night for returning series and a down one for freshmen. CBS’ NCIS (3.5/10 in 18-49, 19 million viewers) and NCIS: LA (3.0/8, 16.4 million) were flat with their most recent originals three weeks ago. NCIS was the top program of the night in 18-49 and total viewers, while NCIS: LA drew its largest audience since the season premiere. CBS’ rookie Unforgettable (2.1/6) was down 5% for a season low. At Fox, Glee (2.9/8) was even with its fast national last week, down a tenth from the final. New Girl (3.3/8) was down a tenth, while Raising Hope (2.3/6) was up 6%. CBS (2.9/8, 15.5 million) and Fox (2.9/8, 6.5 million) finished tied for No. 1 in 18-49, with CBS tops in total viewers. ABC’s freshman Last Man Standing (2.2/6) at 8 PM was down 19% from last week for a series low. It was the only original offering on ABC last night. Following a news special on Prince William and his wife Kate on NBC, the season finale of The Biggest Loser (2.7/7) posted a season high, up 23% from last week. But it was down a steep 33% from last fall’s closer to post the reality franchise’s lowest-rated finale ever.

Glad to see audiences are finally getting hip to how bad Unforgettable is.
love unforgettable, dylan walsh is the real, great writing.
I believe that’s the first time ‘great writing’ and ‘unforgettable’ have been used in the same sentence…
Dylan Walsh deserves better than this dreck.
maybe it’s me but abc seems to be the worst at scheduling new shows and reruns. they wonder where the audience goes? after the first blitz of new shows in the fall it’s hit and miss until february… as a viewer you just throw your hands up and quit. not everyone has a dvr. or is proactive enough to hunt for a show online.
desp housewives for example will have had 3 new scattered eps in the span of 2 month. last night one new ep of last man standing amongst 3 non regular scheduled reruns of shows in different timeslots? and once dancing goes off they look ridiculous like they were suddenly unprepared that it ended the season.
I was liking Last Man Standing, but the similarities to Home Improvement are increasing. From the old vehicle in the garage right off the kitchen to the video chats like his old schtick on ‘Tool Time’. The daughters on the show are hilarious and I love Nancy Travis and Tim Allen, but they need to steer clear of the Home Improvement zone. My husband is still loving it and I’ll give it a few more episodes yet.
It looks like “last man” won’t be “standing” much longer…
Of course it’ll stand. It’s averaging a 2.6 and the only reason why the rating went down to a 2.2 is because every other show on the abc schedule is repeats. Just last week it got a 2.7 so keep dreaming
Unforgettable is absolutely awful and generic. The writing is terrible and Dylan Walsh deserves better.
just cause it had a kardashian
