• I like that they are for once keeping a tight lip on an event film and only slowly giving us glimpses into this film (my most anticipated of the next year), but it’s very clear the movie has more than 5% of its DNA in common. And for that, I’m thankful.

• I think it’s a brilliant one-sheet. Fox doesn’t have to put “Alien” on it – the dark colors and muted Giger imagery with Ridley Scott’s name say nothing but “Alien”. I think it’s a great way to push it without being too obvious. Besides, let’s be grateful and hope not one thinks it would be a great idea to have one of those posters with everyone’s faces on it.

• Everything about that screams EPIC. I have a feeling Prometheus will make Avatar look like a dumb chick flick. (Not that Rothman will be complaining, both potential franchises are gravy for Fox).
