Warner Bros’ Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows has been tracking really big in recent weeks despite the box office slump. So it’s no surprise that the latest MovieTickets poll finds that over 40% of the 6,700 moviegoing poll participants who are buying tickets this holiday season are most excited to see that sequel. Here are the stats:

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (Sony) – 26.1%

Then I feel sorry for those 40%.
How? The trailers have been awful, recycling the same jokes and even the same trailer music. At this point it’s probably my least anticipated. I want to see Dragon Tattoo, War Horse, Shame, Mission Impossible, and Tinker Tailor if it ever opens in my state (WTF)
Funny how one tv ad for IM4 had no mention or shots of Cruise even being in the film. Sherlock will do 80-90 mil easy opening weekend.
Will be great fun. And it can’t open soon enough : I’m having serious popcorn & Reese Pieces withdrawal !!
