Question from a relative outsider.
Wouldn’t you not want to get a script to one of these agencies? I mean if these are all supposedly great why can’t these agencies get them made. Please enlighten me if I’m woefully mistaken.
The whole system is so broken I wouldn’t know where to begin…
1. They’re not agencies, they’re managers.
2. Neither agencies nor managers make movies; studios do that.
A) Most of these are getting made.
B) Most scripts in general don’t get made, repped or unrepped.
C) You gotta know some one to read your script to get a manager
3 for Benderspink? I count 1.
“Most of these are getting made”.
Oh, yeah? Like all the previous years’ Black List scripts, that nobody gives a jot about? This is all puffery. If these scripts were even remotely good, they’d be playing on pay-per-view already.
