The CW hasn’t been able to successfully launch a reality series in its 6-year history. (Long-running hit America’s Next Top Model originated on UPN.) Now the network is making its biggest effort to date with the midseason fashion docu series Remodeled, which will blanket the CW schedule for 2 weeks in January and push back the returns of 91010 and Ringer. Remodeled, which will bridge the two cycles of Top Model, was originally slated to premiere in Top Model’s Wednesday 9 PM slot on Jan. 18, following an original One Tree Hill. The debut has now been moved to Tuesday, Jan. 17, when Remodeled will follow the return of 90210, which is being held back a week to help launch the new series. The premiere episode of Remodeled will be rerun twice that week, in the show’s regular Wednesday 9 PM slot after OTH and on Friday at 8 PM, replacing Nikita, which was slated to air a repeat. The second episode of Remodeled will also air behind 90210 on Tuesday and repeat on Wednesday before Remodeled settles into its Wednesday 9 PM slot on Feb. 1. On Tuesdays, Remodeled will preempt Ringer, whose return with originals will be delayed by 3 weeks, from Jan. 10 to Jan. 31. Remodeled stars modeling industry veteran Paul Fisher as he tries to bring together hundreds of small agencies around the world in a new venture.

Bring back RINGER! I don’t know why I’m hooked on that crazy show but I AM!!!
Can’t wait for this show!
Not a bad idea at all. A longer hiatus for “Ringer” could be potentially bad, but at least they will be able to air more episodes in a row and hopefully maintain their audience w/o gaps.
Pussycat Dolls was a hit the first year! Love those girls!
Enjoy it while it lasts. I’ll eat my hat if that show comes back for a second season. It’s wheezing its way through the first half of the first one as it is. Even SMG can’t save this lazy, hackneyed snoozefest.
Revenge is EVERYTHING that Ringer was supposed to be but isn’t.
“Revenge is EVERYTHING that Ringer was supposed to be but isn’t.”
The opposite is true.
I think 90210 needs a shake up and should just get outrageous like REVENGE instead of all this “following your dreams” pull shit.
ARIEL KEBBEL needs to get in there, shake things up and be the bad girl Valerie Malone this show needs. Break a pool cue in two and trash Liam’s bar like it was SHOOTERS circa early Melrose Place.
A main character needs to get killed off. IVY would be a great choice. Have her fly off PCH or something heinous.
I love this ANNIE going through major crisis shit. Keep that up, she should just keep finding herself in one mess after the next.
Nope. I watch both shows and ringer is bad. Loved Buffy and love SMG, but Ringer is awful.
I caught a snippet of this show. It looks horrible. People from every industry now think that they can have a reality show and be a star if they try to copy Gordon Ramsay or Simon Cowell’s bluntness.
Only with those guys it comes off genuine. This guy seemed like he was playing to the cameras. When reality people try to “act” their lack of training and technique makes for embarrassing television.
When will it all end?
I’d take questionable writing and decent acting over reality crap any day.
It will flop hard. Competition reality is DEAD on this network. The CW should launch one “Real Housewives of” or “Teen Mom” type of show. Young women love them.
Also, BRING BACK RINGER ASAP! The show has really grown on me the past few weeks.
Definitely:BRING BACK RINGER! Now we will have to wait three extra weeks for its’ return-!WTF! All because of another (soon to fail)attempt at a reality show by the CW.”Remodeled ,or,whatever it’s called is doomed to join the list of failed CW “reality” programs. As an earlier viewer noted:”ringer”hooks you in. This program is extremely addictive & only gets better & better with each episode! Yes,I will admit:it can be confusing at times trying to keep track of all the twists & turns-but-that is what makes it sooo much fun:tuning in to see what happens next! I have not missed an episode of this program,as,I make sure to record it & watch it when I have the opportunity later on. “Ringer” does make you think and that is also part of the fun.Although, for anyone who hasn’t watched it yet,&,is considering doing so:it would be almost impossible to catch up with all that has happened so far-I know I would have difficulty explaining it all. That said,I’m just happy I’ve been watching since the beginning! I’m also very happy being able to watch Sarah on a regular basis,as, I was a big fan of her”Buffy the vampire slayer” days. One more thing:I truly hope this long hiatus(which is now even longer) doesn’t hurt this show,&, the fans of this program return when it comes back.”Ringer”:one of the most addictive programs on television-along with”Revenge” of course. Thank you.
Mark Pedowitz needs to stop focusing on reality projects for this network and focus his attention on producing programs that are going to generate somewhat of an interest in all demographics and not just the tween audience they have right now. They need to rebrand this network and determine what it truly wants to become.
Reality programming is just time-filler options until something better gets developed and produced. Ostroff did ruin this network but hoping Mark can turn this thing around soon; otherwise, I cannot see this network lasting for one more year at the current rate it’s going now. ION could eventually beat them out soon.
I really enjoy Ringer and all its crazy twists. A guilty pleasure. I don’t see how they’ll sustain it, though. And it really shows what a limited actress Sarah Michelle Gellar is – she makes no differentiation between the two characters she plays.
Nikita: the show I watch because the wondrous Alberta Watson is there.
The CW mucking around its schedule will not please loyal fans of shows like Nikita, OTH, GG, & now Ringer.
@vincent Hanna…my thoughts exactly.Saw the show…DOA.
