EXCLUSIVE: We tv’s head of development John Miller has left the cable channel. I hear that Miller, who had served as SVP original productions and development for WE tv and Wedding Central since 2009, was recently let go. We TV is yet to name a replacement. Based in New York, Miller developed original programming and served as executive in charge of production on all We tv-produced programming, including hit series Bridezillas, Joan and Melissa, My Fair Wedding and Braxton Family Values. Miller was previously EVP of television at The Weinstein Co.

Sounds like some dumb ass execs decided to let go a guy who has a real sense of what people want to see on television.
Hey John, nice to see you chime in.
well deserved. john is an ego-maniac who has no idea how to build a network…but he sure does know how to ‘talk to the ladies”
He knew he was drowning and had his EP’s out in the field for months saving shows because he made bad deals with third party production companies. The guy has no vision especially for a Women’s Network – what were they thinking when they hired him????
are you serious? john was the KING of rescheduling. i have a lot of respect for john but he didn’t too much at WE. What shows did he bring in? Did he ever take a meeting with a producer? John’s future at WE was on the wall from day 1. No one thought he would last this long. I’m sorry but we all know that he was just not the right exec for this job.
Not shocking since he has one of the worst reputations of all the reality execs in the business
He had nothing to do with the shows listed. This genius brought you “Sunset Daze” and “Downsized” not exactly hits. He’s a moron and doesn’t get it and belongs back at Weinstein where he did nothing of merit.
Now there’s a little holiday cheer. Sometimes bad things happen to bad people. the rest of us can smile.
He was let go weeks ago. Shows how little he matters
The shows on We suck. Who want to aRch a bunch of brides that scream and yell. Their is not one original show on this network worth watching . Now Kendra who I was happy to see come off Vh1 lands on this channel. Another great role model. Would not change my life if gone from tv.
