Demi Moore Drops Out Of ‘Lovelace’ Role
Chloë Sevigny has been added to the cast of Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman’s Lovelace, the biopic of iconic adult film star Linda Lovelace. Sevigny will play a feminist journalist assigned to write a story about Lovelace, who is being played by Amanda Seyfried. Peter Sarsgaard, Debi Mazar, Cory Hardrict, Adam Brody, Eric Roberts, Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Robert Patrick, Wes Bentley, Sharon Stone and Juno Temple also star. The project — from Eclectic Pictures, Untitled Entertainment Animus Films and Nu Image/Millennium — still needs a replacement for Demi Moore, who dropped out yesterday; she had been set to cameo as Gloria Steinem. Shooting began last month in Los Angeles.

Get Jeanne Tripplehorn to replace Demi. Sister-wives together again!
Maybe I am the only one, but why do we need to keep hearing about casting updates to Lovelace? It’s just another ensemble drama without a release date. All this behind the scenes stuff kills mystique. Just let me know when it’s coming to theaters in two years or when it’s gonna be on my Instant Queue.
Irony
What’s ironic, bd?
Diane Lane would be great as Steinem.
Luckily, Miss Lohan is still available.
Diane Lane would be great in pretty much anything. And definitely as Gloria Steinem.
Awesome. I need more Chloe in my life. Put her in movies Hollywood!!
Wow, Demi was a great idea for Steinem. Juliane Moore is another good option. So is Jody Foster.
Why does anyone even care about this outdated movie??
I agree….a film about Linda Lovelace?
This has BOMB written all over it.
Short the stock.
Were it not 3 am, I would be howling with laughter and calling my spouse in to see this page. On the VERY same page discussing the Linda Lovelace biopic is a huge ad for Pine Bros. “Softish Throat Drops.” Throat lozenge anyone? Hilarious. At least to me…
