Warner Bros has assigned Trouble With The Curve (tentative title) a release date of September 28, 2012. The movie stars Clint Eastwood and Amy Adams as an aging baseball scout accompanied by his daughter on one final road trip. The film marks the directing debut of Eastwood’s Malpaso Prods. partner Robert Lorenz. Script is by Randy Brown. Other movies currently slated for that date are Universal’s Savages, Fox’s Won’t Back Down and Sony’s Looper. Additionally Warner Bros has scheduled the IMAX doc To The Arctic 3D for April 20, 2012.

Will see this.
Would Mr. Eastwood like to guest star on [H]OUSE? He is one of HUGH LAURIE’S idols. We need someone GREAT to play House’s bio dad.
[H]OUSE is on the FOX network. Please think about it Mr. Eastwood? Thank you!
That would ROCK!
I will fly to America to see this the day it opens…..
Will wait for the Rex Reed review as he was so on the nose for J. Edgar. I believe Moneyball covered all the baseball scouting stories for awhile. Would be more appropriate as grandfather/granddaughter story rather than father/daughter but why waste words – his fans will go see whatever makes, rave about it and leave people like me scratching their heads. But WHAT ABOUT HIS FAMILY REALITY SHOW. Now, that should be worth watching.
This will be great, hopefully Clint will make it his last and one of his best performances. Hopefully he will finally get his Best Actor Oscar.
