Discovery Communications’ TLC has picked up Preacher Wives, a new series about outspoken female preachers and wives of preachers in Atlanta. It chronicles the lives of these larger-than-life women as they manage day-to-day politics, help troubled or needy congregants, hire and fire staff while balancing being a parent and a respected public figure. True Entertainment is producing.
Over at sibling Discovery Channel, the Friday premiere of Bering Sea Gold at 10 PM drew 3.7 million viewers, the most-watched series premiere in the network’s history. The new show from producer Thom Beers was helped by a strong lead-in from hit Gold Rush, which averaged 4.2 million viewers.

TLC doesnt know what ts getting into. Nice try, but increibly bad idea. Plus they dont have the same caliber producers as Bravo…look at what happened with American Musliim. Epic fail. Stick wih the Toddlers and Tiaras spinoffs.
Well if “caliber of producers” is your reason for thinking that this show will be a failure then; you’re prediction of this show’s success, or lack there of, is wrong. True Entertainment is producing the show, and True is the producer of a show that you may have heard of called “Real Housewives Of Atlanta”…..
