Not so long ago Donald Trump probably hoped that he’d be talking today about his performance in last night’s Republican caucuses in Iowa. Instead he’s announcing the latest list of personalities who will join him on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice beginning February 12. The men are: former late-night host Arsenio Hall, singer Clay Aiken, radio host Adam Carolla, former Incredible Hulk star Lou Ferrigno, magician/comedian Penn Jillette, former Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider, former Star Trek star George Takei, IndyCar legend Michael Andretti, and American Chopper’s Paul Teutul Sr. The women are: former supermodel Cheryl Tiegs, former pop star Debbie Gibson, singer/actress Tia Carrere, author and reality star Victoria Gotti, comedienne Lisa Lampanelli, former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza, singer/actress Aubrey O’Day, actress/model Patricia Velásquez, and Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice.

And, you gotta love the Donald … epic! Who else could make a plug for his show into a political moment. Awesome!
This is actualy not a bad lineup. Yes they are all washed up has beens but at least I didn’t have to google them. If Cheryl Tiegs wears the fishnet bathing suit from her Sports Illustrated days I will be watching.
Penn Jillette is neither washed up, nor a has been. But he sure knows how to find opportunities to promote the Penn & Teller brand.
Good group. I will be watching for the first time.

George Takei seems to be the only one with an active career that isn’t merely retreading his glory from 20 years ago. He was on Hereos.
Sad to see soo many LGBT and allies giving this asshole the time of day. GLAAD needs to apply some pressure and get these uncle toms and tammies to boycott the jerk’s show.
It’s interesting that a psychotic bigot like Trump would allow two gay males to be cast. Look for them to go very early in the season.
You “advocates” bitching about gays & allies being on the show come off more prejudice and hate filled than Trump does.

This is actually the least ridiculous APPRENTICE lineup in years, maybe ever. Jillette is an established Vegas star, Carolla has a podcast audience most radio guys would kill for, Takei is a working character actor, Michael Andretti is a major star in his sport, and people will tune in to see what’s up with Arsenio Hall. As for the women, after Tiegs and Lampanelli I agree you’re into Obscureville, but watching those two together should be great.
DANCING WITH THE STARS should come up with such a lineup.

It was written in Forbes that Clay Aiken made 1.5 million last year. Maybe he just had an off year – but for a ‘washed up has been’that still ain’t too bad!!
It should be called Stern celebrity apprentice. It pretty much is made up of every Stern show friend for the last 25 years. George Takei, Dee, Carolla, Penn, Lisa. Even Debbie Gibson used to be a semi Stern regular. Never under estimate the power of Howard!!!
The Apprentice is a great program but,Donald should pick people that dont use such fowl language on the show the language sends a bad example to most Americans..He should clean up his show.or set up soor set up some better ground rules.. me better ground rules.. ….Dick Ensing
