  • she is one of the very worst actresses i have seen. in her USA series, she smiles throughout every scene, with hardly a pause to rest her hard-working jaw.

• I am sad to learn that Piper is performing a character who is deaf according to the synopsis of “Red Machine”. I believe she is not deaf in real life so I can see she will be horrible in interpreting the deaf character and giving it a one dimensional and a false portrayal. What’s wrong with the pool of talented deaf actors ready to work? Did the producer give the deaf actors opportunity for audition? Look at “Tribes” that’s running at the Burrow Tehatre in NYC which has been receiving the rave reviews because in it there s a wonderful actor who is deaf perform the deaf sibling in the family. It is successful because of honest and authentic portrayal of the deaf character! So my thumb is DOWN!
