LOS ANGELES– (January 17, 2012) GoDigital announced today a digital distribution deal with New York-based independent distributor Adopt Films. Beginning with Marie Losier’s award-winning THE BALLAD OF GENESIS AND LADY JAYE, opening theatrically on March 8th, GoDigital will exploit all Video-On-Demand and Electronic Sell-Thru rights for Adopt’s films. Adopt anticipates releasing six-to-eight films per year and recently acquired NUIT #1, the dazzling directorial debut of Anne Emonds which premiered at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival. GoDigital’s Andy Bohn and Adopt co-managing executive Jeff Lipsky negotiated the distribution pact.
