I know we’re supposed to shit on trailers typically… but that looked really good.
I guess the single-shot gimmick requires this kind of “look! he’s in the background!” framing, but even in this short trailer it gets repetitive.
It looks like Olsen will end up carrying this with a performance that feels real.
BTW: Anyone using Arvo Part’s music for b-movies like this should have his or her nails yanked out. Is nothing sacred?

Total ripoff of The Texas Chainsaw remake trailer. Anyway, I saw the movie. Olsen is quite good but the movie underwhelms.
I will definitely see it. Looks great actually. Really dig the trailer. Even though I haven’t seen Martha Marcy May Marlene yet (not by choice, it looks fantastic but never opened here) I still really like Elizabeth Olsen and she looks great in this. Kind of excited for this one.
