just saw it in Imax – peaks in dubai, but jesus, nice peak that is. heart stopping.
I have officially forgiven the cruise for being a bit of a mentaller. I’m fairly certain he’s a decent guy and god but he is great value for money – would you look at the state of him hanging off that building?
also, and I mean this:
***Nobody Runs Like The Cruise***
its reassuring to see that man pelting around onscreen again. he runs like the hounds of hell are after him.
Cruise – thou art forgiven – let us two never speak of scientology again.
The guy can run ha. I don’t think there is a better action star.
I am saddened; the digital projection system that Imax is presently trying to pass off as true IMAX
produces nowhere near the quality of the 70 millimeter FILM IMAX that made the company’s
reputation.
Digital Imax is big and it is bright but it no longer has the jaw dropping realism that 70 millimeter
film prints had. MISSION IMPOSSIBLE in digital Imax simply didn’t have the impact that
THE DARK KNIGHT had in 70 millimeter film.
It is sad that IMAX has opted to literally cannibalize it’s once considerable reputation.
It is also sad that audiences can’t seem to tell the difference and are tolerating this.
“It is also sad that audiences can’t seem to tell the difference and are tolerating this.”
Because Imax is a technology company and don’t know how to promote themselves to the end user. They do pump their stock well though.
