We knew a parody was coming when the CW announced last week its new midseason game show Oh Sit!, a “high-stakes, high-octane” version of musical chairs. ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel took on the project’s title, which he said had narrowly won over the producers’ second choice, Total Crock Of Sit, and ran a promo for a new game show companion to Oh Sit! titled Duck You.

Duck You would actually be pretty funny. Imagine watching people get tasered, how is that not funny?!
I started off wearing no tie. Desperate to keep my show I put on a tie. I am a lemming just like you. I am Jimmy Kimmel. Not good looking, not funny, not particularly smart or likable.
Why mock the musical chairs show? It’s no stupider than half the unscripted garbage on TV. It’s not like it’s exceptionally stupid in a realm of mind-blowingly intelligent and thoughtful programming.
OK, Nikki, this isn’t bad. Not a big fan of Kimmel’s, but this is fine. But the day you start posting clips from Leno’s Tonight Show is the day I gotta take a hike. I flip the channel over once a month or so out of morbid curiosity and some of his SH%& is UNBELIEVABLY BAD. It’s ATROCIOUS. And I’m not someone who types in caps regularly, but it’s MIND NUMBINGLY UNFUNNY. No wonder Jay’s ratings have declined so much.
I’m not a regular viewer of Kimmel’s, but after seeing this I may check it out.
The parody he made of this show might actually do better than what the CW is ordering. Has the CW seriously run out of ideas for shows for their network? I’m disappointed in the way Mark is running this network…sounds like that of Ostroff all over again.
