It will be Michelle Obama’s late-night debut as the First Lady when she appears on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on Tuesday, January 31. She originally did a segment in October 2008, just before her husband was elected president. Obama is expected to talk about her “Let’s Move” children’s health campaign among other topics, but her appearance also happens to be the same day as the GOP holds its Florida primary in the crucial state. She will be in town for a fundraiser she is scheduled to attend that day at the home of Nicole Avant and Ted Sarandos. The Tonight Show is a favorite late-night hangout for Michelle’s husband, President Barack Obama, who has visited with Leno twice, most recently in October.

Doubt the President will be making Hollywood rounds soon after the debacle regarding the internet legislation. It was a good idea but terrible legislation which gave government far too much power to regulate the internet.
I guess Chris Dodd won’t be visiting the first lady on her visit to LA.
This woman is not remotely interesting and has done absolutely nothing of note as a First Lady but the media seems to treat her like a saint give us a break.
And Barbara Bush did what exactly?
The negative comments seem to be the main stay of the US folk. In Canada we give people a reasonable amount of time to actually do things before we break out the tar and feathers. The Obama’s were elected at a really bad time in history where corruption on Wall St. and boat loads of cash still feed the war machine … for little real value. The woman is really quite smart watch, listen and maybe learn something … G. Wicks Toronto Canada .. not a Republican or a Democrat duh?
