Here is the second part of my 2012 Sundance opener as the festival gets underway Thursday. The first part was : Deals Will Come But Film Buyers Wary Of Overpaying. Here are the Sundance films that have the highest wanna-see from buyers I spoke with:

ARBITRAGE - Writer-director: Nicholas Jarecki, Cast: Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon, Tim Roth, Brit Marling, Nate Parker. Gere is a hedge-fund magnate in over his head, desperately trying to complete the sale of his trading empire before the depths of his fraud are revealed. An unexpected, bloody error forces him to turn to the most unlikely corner for help. 1st Screening – Saturday, January 21st, 6:30pm – Eccles

BACHELORETTE - Writer-director: Leslye Headland, Cast: Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher, Lizzy Caplan, James Marsden, Adam Scott, Kyle Bornheimer. Unresolved issues between four high school friends come roaring back to life when the least popular of them gets engaged to one of the most eligible bachelors in New York City and asks the others to be bridesmaids. 1st Screening – Monday, January 23rd, 9:45pm – Eccles

CELESTE AND JESSE FOREVER – Director: Lee Toland Krieger, Writers: Rashida Jones, Will McCormack, Cast: Rashida Jones, Andy Samberg, Ari Graynor, Chris Messina, Elijah Wood, Emma Roberts. Title characters were high school sweethearts who married young. At 30, they decide to get divorced but remain best friends while pursuing other relationships. 1st Screening – Friday, January 20th, 6:30pm – Eccles

LAY THE FAVORITE – Director: Stephen Frears, Writer: D.V. DeVincentis, Cast: Bruce Willis, Vince Vaughn, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Rebecca Hall. An adventurous young woman gets involved with a group of older guys who work the Vegas sportsbook system to their advantage. 1st Screening – Saturday, January 21st, 9:45pm – Eccles

LIBERAL ARTS – Writer-Director: Josh Radnor, Cast: Josh Radnor, Elizabeth Olsen, Richard Jenkins, Allison Janney, Zac Efron, John Magaro, Elizabeth Reaser. Thirtysomething Jesse is invited back to his alma mater, where he falls for a 19-year-old college student and encounters the problems that powerful attraction brings. 1st Screening – Sunday, January 22nd, 3:15pm – Eccles

THE WORDS – Writer-Director: Brian Klugman, Lee Sternthal. Cast: Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Irons, Dennis Quaid, Olivia Wilde, Zoe Saldana. NOBODY WALKS – Director: Ry Russo-Young, Writers: Lena Dunham, Ry Russo-Young. Cast: John Krasinski, Olivia Thirlby, Rosemarie DeWitt, Dylan McDermott, Jane Levy, India Ennenga, Justin Kirk. A young female artist from New York is invited into the home of a hip, liberal LA family for a week. Her presence unravels the family’s carefully maintained status quo, and a mess of sexual and emotional entanglements ensues. 1st Screening – Sunday, January 22nd, 12:15pm – Eccles

THE QUEEN OF VERSAILLES – Director: Lauren Greenfield. Jackie and David were triumphantly constructing the biggest house in America — a sprawling, 90,000-square-foot palace inspired by Versailles — when their timeshare empire collapses and their house is foreclosed. Their rags-to-riches-to-rags story reveals the innate virtues and flaws of the American Dream. 1st Screening – Thursday, January 19th, 6:00pm – Eccles

With a drug called Soy Sauce, users drift across time and dimensions. But some who come back are no longer human, causing an otherworldly invasion and mankind needs a hero.
