Bale is the man, he bailed on these too, hopefully he’s skipping the Oscars too
.
I am NOT happy that the stunt awards will not be part of the show– they could have made time!!!
SAG lost all credibility when it snubbed Homeland.
wow – talk about trying to promote the new Dallas show …. on TNT
and Kyra Sedgwick & Regina King are both on TNT shows
also – couldn’t they at least try to add a little more diversity ?
what ? no Black male actors were available when the show was taped ?
but Ed Helms & John Krasinski (both great actors – no doubt) – but come on !
FYI – The Office re-runs on TBS (TNT’s sister station – as will the SAG awards)
apparently the acknowledgement of actors of color (or disabilities for that matter) is not of importance.
couldn’t find ANY asian actors or may be more than one Latina/o actor to come hand out an award?
or two Latinas if you count Berenice Bejo (even though she’s from Argentina – she’s pretty much considered a European actress – considering that’s where she lives and is the wife of french director of “the Artist”) – I’m sure she’s nice and all, but I seriously doubt she relates much to the experiences of Latina/os in the U.S.
the various SAG Diversity Committees should get to elect at least 1 person to represent their individual committees – if not even two – 1 male & 1 female – how great would that be ?
has an Asian actor ever even been nominated for a SAG award ?
