  • Violence and sexual situations are fine. “Bad words”, however, can’t be tolerated.

  • Except, the part about the pg13 rating due to chelsea handjob being spicy, is all spin and bullshite from her publicist Stephen Huvane to explain why she’s not even remotely funny in this bigger screen failed attempt. As if that ho needs an excuse.

• Every time I see a film fight for a rating other than ‘R’ it makes me happy. Then I know the film is a waste of time and money to see. They bought the script and shot it as it was knowing it would earn them an ‘R’ rating. I am sure the final cut was a turd and PG-13 was $$ Plan B.

• Fox has been smart to keep chelsea handlers involvement out of the ads I might have mistakenly seen it but now that I know she is in it I will make it a point to not see it.

  • actually I just saw a TV spot and her face was all over it. I have no intention of seeing this. Too many ripoffs of previous movies. And Reese is likable, but I don’t see 2 men killing each other the pleasure of winning her.

• Ah, McG… The hallmark of quality. I guess he “didn’t see it happen, man.” Chelsea Handler + Reese Witherspoon = No straight men seeing this. It’s as stale as JJ Abrams’ Undercovers. Way to break new ground.

• Chelsea has a *VERY* minor role in this as Reese’s best friend.

  I still want to see it. I think Tom Hardy is amazing and this was done post WARRIOR if i’m not mistaken..he’s on a role and I will watch this.

  But, you all may be onto something with Fox minimizing Handler. She isn’t that funny, and the movie is about the core main characters: Chris, Reese and Tom…

• Out of curiosity, why don’t studios bypass the MPAA ratings and just release the movies as unrated and theatre chains will have no choice but to show them or go under? Wouldn’t that work if they just showed a united front?

• The PG-13 silliness has played an enormous part in the ruination of the movie industry. I have no desire to see a movie that is only fit for my contemporaries–I guess that includes the all-important 13-18 year old crowd (I’m 43) and have no respect for a society that has apparently become unable to supervise (read ‘parent’) their offspring for the hour and a half it takes to determine whether your child can handle the atrocities they might face while the movie baby-sits your kid. god forbid they might hear a word they heard you scream at your spouse 16 times the night before. Ridiculous, scary, and sad.
