The blockbuster will be available on Blu-ray, DVD, and VOD on February 11th. But the Twilight Saga‘s fourth installment from Summit Entertainment is still breaking theatrical records. The studio announced that Breaking Dawn – Part 1 now has grossed an estimated $701.3 million in global box office receipts, with Japan and China still to come. Summit says it’ll be the highest-grossing film in the series to date, passing the $709.8M worldwide box office gross of New Moon. Part 1 released on November 18, 2011 amid the worst reviews of all the previous Twilight installments. But fans flocked anyway. Part 2 arrives in theaters on November 16th.

So Bill Condon made the best movie from the worst book. If only he would be there for New Moon and Eclipse…
Bill Condon mad the best movie!!! thats amazing <3
China!? China is a bigger market for Twilight than Japan. Its so amazing that Twilight was able to penetrate the chinese Market, because as we all know that China has a strick policy on foreign films being shown there!
Can’t wait to catch it on Redbox, which interestingly lists it as being available on February 11th. What happened to the delay window, I wonder?
Everyone hates the films except the public. When a group of people knock themselves out to entertain, I give them respect even if it isn’t my favored genre. I wish some of the haters would ask some of the fans why they like the stories so much. Maybe fewer films and series would tank. Snark is clever. Most grade school kids learn it their first week on the internet. On adults on a site like this one, it comes across as shallow.
Nice try, Bill.
