
EXCLUSIVE: Emmy winner Bradley Whitford has been tapped to co-star opposite Ali Larter in the Fox drama pilot The Asset. The project, written and executive produced by Josh Friedman and directed by Neil Burger, centers on Anna King (Larter), is a remarkably gifted globe-trotting photographer with a secret life: she a CIA field operative. Whitford will play Leo, the Station Chief of the New York City CIA who is King’s biggest supporter. Whitford, repped by WME and Greenlight Management, recently starred in the Hallmark Hall Of Fame movie Have A Little Faith and will next be seen in the Joss Whedon feature The Cabin In The Woods.

Would have been nice, but he probably wants to get away from any West Wing connections.
The Good Guys was IMO underrated. It was a fun show to watch with my kids. And an over-the-top Bradley Whitford was a hoot.
Let’s hope The Asset has staying power.
