February 10, 2012 (Burbank, CA & New York, NY) — The CW and Tribune Broadcasting today announced a distribution partnership for “The Bill Cunningham Show” which The CW Network will add to their weekday afternoon lineup beginning Fall 2012. “The Bill Cunningham Show” will air Monday through Friday, 3:00-4:00 p.m., on The CW Network stations nationwide beginning in September.
The 60-minute program hosted by Bill Cunningham, an attorney and nationally syndicated talk radio host, launched on Tribune Broadcasting stations to great success in Fall 2011. ITV Studios America will continue to produce “The Bill Cunningham Show” with a live studio audience at NEP Penn Studios in Manhattan.
“We are very pleased to add “The Bill Cunningham Show” to our weekday afternoon block,” said John Maatta, Chief Operating Officer, The CW. “Bill is a talented host with a fascinating program, and we know he’ll be a terrific asset for The CW and our affiliated stations.”

Seriously, has the CW completely lost their minds? The whole idea here is to improve the network and get people to start watching their programs again, not air such crap like this and a man who is nothing more than a pompous ass who should be flogged and whipped like a government mule. The show airs on the Tribune affiliates and the ratings have been abysmal for this show in its first year and yet, the CW wants to risk whatever credibility they still have to air this kind of garbage on the airwaves? If so, the CW should just fold up shop and call it a day. This network is really lost!
Two weeks ago the Dr. Drew Lifechangers Show which now airs on the CW was cancelled just prior to the start of Feb. Sweeps and so far Telepictures has not announced it. Why is Telepictures keeping the cancellation of Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers under wraps? The Dr. Drew crew of producers, cameramen, production assistants, and even Hilary Estey Mcloughlan had a wrap party which they all attended and the show immediately ceased production. The staff was laid off and two weeks later this is all a big secret. There were even pictures of the show’s wrap party on Facebook. Can anyone explain why Telepictures is not announcing Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers cancellation ?

Who in god’s name thought it would be a good idea to give a Team America puppet their own show?
Too bad Ty Pennington is stuck on the Revolution. He is the only good thing about that show and could carry a show of his own. Something fun with take away….
For a moment I thought they meant Bill Cunningham, society photographer and thought ‘how inspired!’ … But alas.

I’m a heavy-duty CW supporter….but this move defies any sort of logic. Cunningham offers some pretty screwy commentary, at least when I’ve caught his late-night show on the radio. I can’t imagine he’d appeal to anyone outside of a Fox News audience.
I really liked Dr. Drew, though, and figured his show fit the demo better. So maybe I’ll be like George Costanza and just do the opposite of everything I think is right.
(To be honest, I’d rather see an hour of Pinky & The Brain and The Animaniacs at 3pm on The CW. I think most folks would, too.)
Honnestly I have been watching Maury, jerry and steeve but the bill show is Honnestly no good continuation of this lineup he talk and his guest always over power him he has no control over them nor the show he dosent solve anything or ask direct question that are interresting to the viewers I really hope thy remove him
The Bill Cunningham show is probably one of the most no brainier shows on tv. You cancel Dr. Drew and keep this trash on your network? You are not trying to better your network…that’s very obvious!
I totally agree. I saw the Bill Cunningham show for the 1st time and thought – What was the CW thinking??? That was the worst alternative that they could have thought of. Dr. Drew Lipinsky at least has credibility and is trying to do something positive. It seems like networks go out of their way to put the lowest quality shows on tv and get rid of the good ones.
I am very sorry to hear that Dr. Drew show was cancelled. But Bill Cunningham. He is not very pleasant to look at. He seems very weird. Hope his show doesn’t last too long.
