Corinealdi played the lead in the Sundance ’12 competition film Middle Of Nowhere which Participant Media and AFFRM jointly picked up at the festival this year. She received good word of mouth during the festival for her performance as a woman who struggles to maintain her marriage and identity after her husband is incarcerated, starring opposite ICM client, David Oyelowo. The film was written and directed by Ava DuVernay, who won Best Director at the festival. Emayatzy Corinealdi is managed by Inphenate and represented by Del, Shaw, Moonves, Tanaka, Finkelstein & Lezcano.

She was amazing in the film and has a very bright future.
That’s all well and good but they could have had TEBOW!
Also note that Corineald dropped her agent/manager who got her this role to sign with new representation.
Her agent/manager got her this role? You’re misinformed. They get the appointments; they advise the career. The talent is the one and only that “gets the role.”
someone is bitteeeeerr.
poor rob. so naive and ill-advised. the producers gave it. the actress earned it. perhaps your point of view as referenced in this post is the exact reason the client left.
I saw Corinealdi perform in a showcase in LA last year. She’s fantastic! Nice to see such positive news about an actor that made an impression!
Congrats Emayatzy! PleasantVille is rising. You always were a star. Keep going! Xoxo
