EXCLUSIVE: That was quick — Kelli Williams, who in October was cast a recurring on the upcoming sixth season of the Lifetime drama series Army Wives, has now been made a regular. She plays Jacqueline “Jackie” Clarke, the ambitious wife of 2-star Major General Kevin Clarke. Well-educated, she was born into a well-to-do, politically connected family and was named after Jacqueline Kennedy, a family friend. The Practice alumna Williams, repped by ICM and John Carrabino, most recent co-starred on the Fox drama Lie To Me. In other Army Wives castings, Lawrence Gilliard is joining the series, whose sixth season premieres on March 4, for a five-episode arc.

I couldn’t be happier for Kelli.A lady of her talent deserves to be on television regularly. The Army Wives gain is an aforementioned show’s loss!!!!
Good for her! She is by far one of the nicest women I’ve ever worked with…
Celebrating that Kelli finally has a decent role after the loss of Lie to Me. Cannot wait to see what she does.
*Go Kelli!*
Interesting. The new season of Army Wives got interesting again. I’ve wondered if the series will try a cast change-up to keep it going in the future, especially with the fictional base closing. Adding Williams and some other new talent and keep the best of the current group at a new base might be a good idea.
Kelli deserves any success she gets. She’s a pro and a sweetheart.
OH YES ! I’m so happy for her. That’s for sure a great news. Kelli is so natural, moving and beautiful. She’s definitely a wonderful and straightforward actress. Can’t wait to see her on Army Wives !
