EXCLUSIVE: Peter Mensah will join True Blood in a recurring role as Kibwe, Chancellor for the Authority. Originally from Africa, Kibwe works toward mainstreaming under Roman’s tenure. In addition to previous and current incarnations of Spartacus on Starz, Mensah has appeared in films including Zack Snyder’s 300, Antoine Fuqua’s Tears Of The Sun, Touchstone Pictures’ Hidalgo and James Cameron’s Avatar. His television credits include Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Witchblade, The Pretender and Star Trek: Enterprise.

*The Pretender…*
Yeah, I know, it refers to the character not the actor. But still, where in Africa, real of made up, is this character from? Sarah Palin thinks Africa is one big nation, and apparently so do a lot of Hollywood writers who continue to regard it as such.
He has a great charisma on screen!
I remember him as General Perry in the scenes of Terminator : The Sarah Connor Chronicles set in the future; i wish he had told us more about Cameron’s (played by the beautiful and talented Summer Glau)real motivations.
Oh, yeah! Doctore in Bon Temps! Sweet. Will he playing kiss-ass Vampire? Peter Mensah is such a brilliant actor, he is big deal in Spartacus, maybe one of the reason why show is big hit. See you in Bon Temps Doctore!
