Pilots ‘Gotham’ & ‘Rebounding’ Add Actors

British TV and stage actor Barry Sloane (Pleasureland) has landed the male lead in the ABC/20^th TV drama pilot Gotham. Written by Michael Green and directed by Francis Lawrence, the project centers on Annie Travers, a female cop who, after pursuing a seemingly unsolvable case, discovers a magical world that exists within New York City. Sloane will play Boyo, a detective in the world of magic who is assigned Annie as a new partner.

Matt Jones (Red State) has been cast in Fox’s single-camera comedy pilot Rebounding. The project, written by Joe Port and Joe Wiseman and directed by Jason Winer, is an uplifting comedy about Danny, a man recovering from the death of his fiancé with the help of the idiots on his pickup basketball team. Jones, repped by Paradigm and manager Brian Ferrantino, will play a rock musician who is a member of Danny’s quartet of close friends. He recurs on both Breaking Bad and NCIS.
