Global film sales and production company Meyers Media Group will launch at the upcoming European Film Market in Berlin with four projects on its roster. Founders Lawrence Meyers will serve as the company’s president and Bobby Meyers will consult. The company’s EFM projects include Midnight Sun from producers Eric Morris (Say Uncle) and Ben Smith (The Bourne Legacy); 7 Red from producers Mace Neufeld (Hunt For Red October) and Robyn Shwer of Mace Neufeld Productions and Eryl Cochran and Branon Coluccio; Rider from producers Arnold Rifkin (16 Blocks) and Damon Martin (Another Happy Day); and One Square Mile from director Charles-Olivier Michaud (Snow & Ashes), which will begin shooting May 7th. Also joining the new company are Randy Dannenberg, formerly of Media 8 Entertainment, who will serve as EVP and will oversee production and acquisition. Peter Rowley will be VP International Distribution and Administration working with Lawrence Meyers in managing the company’s sales slate at international markets and festivals.

Lawrence Meyers’ career spans 35 years working at Lorimar Productions, New World Pictures, Morgan Creek, and Trilogy Entertainment Group. His producer credits include Unfaithful, American Haunting, and Hugo Pool. Bobby Meyers has held various positions at companies such as Columbia Pictures, Orion Pictures, Lorimar, and Village Roadshow. He conceived and was the principal founder of the American Film Marketing Association (now IFTA) and was its chairman the first two years.
