LONDON, FEBRUARY 27 2012: Shine Network, the Shine Group division responsible for the international development, acceleration and editorial stewardship of formats that include MasterChef, The Biggest Loser, One Born Every Minute, Got To Dance and The Magicians, has promoted Paula Warwick to Head of International Productions, it was announced today.

To date, MasterChef has been produced and aired in 26 territories, with 8 additional territories either signed off or in production. Territories it has been produced and aired in include UK, Australia, USA, France, Germany, New Zealand, Hungary, Norway, Belgium, Netherlands, Greece, Israel, India, Sweden, Finland, Turkey, Croatia, Indonesia, Portugal, Peru, Ukraine, The Philippines, Ireland, Italy, Denmark and Malaysia.
Highlights of the format during Warwick’s tenure have included the 2011 series finale of MasterChef being the most watched show ever in Israel, delivering 1.4 million viewers and a market share of 59% and MasterChef USA becoming the highest rating network premiere in summer 2010. Ratings for MasterChef (USA) were also up series-on-series, with the final episode achieving an audience of 7.1 million viewers.
Ben Hall, MD Shine Network said: ”Paula does a truly outstanding job for Shine managing all of our major programme brands and this well- deserved promotion is intended to reflect that success and also the fact that she now manages a fast growing team of international producers”.
Paula joined Shine Group in 2009 as an Executive Producer from ITV where she was a commissioning editor for entertainment.
